Are you unhappy with your NDIS plan, or a decision made by the NDIA?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Appeals Support service at AMIDA can help. It’s free!
Who can get support?
The NDIS Appeals Support service is for anybody who has received an NDIS decision that they are unhappy with. This includes decisions about:
- NDIS eligibility: if you have been denied access to the scheme
- NDIS Participant Plans: if the supports offered by the NDIA do not meet your needs and goals
What kind of support is offered?
We offer support throughout the appeal process at no cost.
The NDIS Appeals Support Officer can:
- Explain the NDIS review and appeal process
- Help to prepare the required documents, including applications for legal aid (if needed)
- Attend Administrative Appeals Tribunal conferences and hearings (if needed)
Self Advocacy
We promote self-advocacy so that participants can:
- Feel confident to say what they need
- Voice what they believe is fair
- Have their human rights respected and upheld
